HELP A CHILD AND WIN A

JCB FASTRAC!

You could win a 170hp JCB Fastrac 3185 worth

£70,000 in the JCB/NSPCC/FW competition running

in the next two issues. Its a competition with a

difference though – were asking you to donate £10

to the NSPCCs Full Stop campaign with your entry

THIS is almost certainly the biggest competition ever to run in the pages of farmers weekly. Not just because the £70,000 JCB Fastrac is the most valuable piece of equipment weve ever had on offer, but because the aim of the competition is to bring in £50,000 towards the £1m target JCB has set itself to raise this year for the NSPCCs Full Stop campaign.

FIRST PRIZE:

JCB FASTRAC 3185

STEP into the cab of the Fastrac and you enter a comfortable, spacious working environment, all riding on a full suspension system. But its not just the driver who enjoys a unique degree of insulation from the bumps and dips in the field or road beneath the wheels. The passenger fares equally well with a full size second seat fitted as standard on all models.

A big glass area ensures a good view of both front and rear-mounted implements and a narrow dashboard maximises visibility along both sides of the bonnet.

Air-conditioning and a powerful ventilation system with a good range of outlets keep the driver cool in summer and a powerful heater keeps things warm in winter. Ultra-low noise levels of as low as 72dBA make for a quiet environment that aids productivity.

The dashboard, meanwhile, includes Landpowers Electronic Monitoring System (EMS) which gives the operator full information on the tractors functions. This includes digital displays of forward speed and either engine revs or pto speed, trip and total distance covered, service countdown, gear and powershift status, warning lights for all safety systems and an error code system to help service engineers.

The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) embarked on its biggest campaign ever in March 1999 – to end cruelty to children within a generation.

Called Full Stop, the campaign aims to raise awareness of child abuse, change public attitudes and bring about positive action.

The Full Stop campaign aims to launch new services to help and support children at risk and build strong, loving families. But it all needs money – at least £250m in cash and pledges over the next two years. Thats where you can help by entering this competition.
