Change of address - how much notice should I provide?

From receipt of your address change instructions, it can take up to 28 days before print copies are delivered to the new address.

If you wish to change the country to which your magazine is delivered please contact Customer Services.

Change of address / how do I update my address?

You can change your delivery details online in My Account at any time using the options in the left hand menu. Alternatively, you can contact our Customer Services team.

Delivery – how is Farmers Weekly delivered (print / tablet)

You can chose to have your magazine delivered in one, or both, of the following ways:
Print magazine - delivered by the postal service to your home or work address
Tablet version – an interactive replica of the print magazine which you can download on your iPad or Android tablet device.
You will need to download the Farmers Weekly app from iTunes or Google Play, which is free and will contain your issues.

Delivery – when will I receive my first issue?

For Print please allow 28 days to receive your first issue. See Delivery Times.
Access to the Tablet edition is instant when you buy online.

Delivery – how do I change how my magazine is delivered / subscribe to a different package?

Farmers Weekly is available in print (delivered by the postal service) or on iPad and Android tablet devices. To change how your subscription is delivered, log in to My Account and select Change How My Issues Are Delivered from the menu bar or contact Customer Services.

Delivery - who do I contact if my issue does not arrive?

Delivery Times

Farmers Weekly magazine has a Friday cover date. The delivery times are based on the distribution network for individual countries. For example, subscribers in the UK will normally receive their copy on the Friday of the cover date. For guidance, see the estimated delivery times based on regional postal services below:

The tablet issues of Farmers Weekly are available to download on Thursday, the day before the magazine is available.

Expiry date - when will my subscription end?

Log in to My Account with your Subscriber Number, email address and password and select My Details from the menu bar to see the expiry date of your subscription. For help, contact our Customer Services team.

A Web+ subscription gives you unlimited access to FWi.co.uk. That means all the news and in-depth articles from Farmers Weekly plus a whole load more that you can’t get in the magazine – exclusive online news, videos, interactive charts and other online content.

Plus you can create your own ‘My News’ column, with articles on the topics most relevant to you. After you’ve selected your topics, ‘My News’ will remember them and every time you visit FWi.co.uk you will get a list of the latest articles on the topics you’ve chosen.

How do I suspend my subscription?

To temporarily suspend delivery of your subscription simply visit the Suspend Delivery page in My Account. Alternatively contact our Customer Services team for further assistance.

Missed issue - how do I claim it?

You can report a missing issue and claim a replacement via the Missing Copy page in My Account. You can only claim the most recent issue. If you need further help contact our Customer Services team.

MyAccount - Why do I need a password to access MyAccount?

We have added a secure login to protect your details. To access your details in My Account, you will need to log in using your subscriber number, your email address and a password of your choice.

MyAccount - How do I set up a password for MyAccount?

To register your password, go here. You will then be sent an email with instructions and a link to active your password. Can’t find the email? Leave it a minute then check again or look in your spam folder. You must active your password before you can log in. If the password is not activated within 7 days, please register it again.

MyAccount - What do I do if I’ve forgotten my password to access MyAccount?

You can set up a new password here. You will then be emailed a temporary password with a link and instructions on how to reset it. You must use the reset link within 7 days. Can’t find the email? Leave it a minute then check again or look in your spam folder. Customer Services cannot set up a password for you, please go here to rest your password.

MyAccount - Why can’t I log in?

If you have attempted to log in unsuccessfully 10 times or more, your account will be locked for 24 hours. Customer Services cannot set up a password for you, please go here to reset your password.

MyAccount - What is ‘Instant Renewal’?

‘Instant Renewal’ is the fastest and easiest way to renew your subscription safely and securely online, with a single click. ‘Instant Renewal’ was automatically enabled after you made the last payment for your journal and means that your renewal payment will be automatically charged to the last card you used, if that card is still valid. If necessary, you can change the card at the point of payment. No more re-entering card details every time you renew.

MyAccount - How secure is ‘Instant Renewal’?

Extremely secure. You have to be logged in to My Account to use ‘Instant Renewal’ and your card details are stored in a secure manner to ensure you are protected against online fraud. As an added safety measure, remember to log out of My Account when you are finished.

Payment Requests - why do I continue to receive renewal advice / invoices for a bill I have paid?

Farmers Weekly subscription files are maintained through a computerised system, managed by a dedicated team. However, due to the lead time required to process large numbers of orders and payments, you may receive an additional invoice after you have already sent your payment. If so please ignore this invoice, but if you receive a subsequent request for payment please let us know. We will correct the situation promptly.

Power Farming – how do I add it to my subscription and do I qualify for a discount?

Farmers Weekly subscribers benefit from a discount from the normal subscription rate. To add Power Farming to your subscription please contact our Customer Services team.

Promotional subscription rates

We value the support of our loyal readers and do not wish to offend them by promoting special rates to new customers. From time to time we do this to encourage casual readers to trial a subscription and to join our growing readership. The rates are valid for a limited time only and revert to the normal subscription price on renewal.

Renew – how do I renew my subscription?

Log in to My Account with your Subscriber Number, email address and password and select Renew from the menu bar to renew your subscription. Alternatively, contact our Customer Services team.

Reprints

Students - do I qualify for a student discount?

Full time students benefit from a 50% discount from the normal subscription rate. To order call UK 0330 333 9694 or International +44 (0) 1444 47 56 32. You will be asked to provide your student identification number.

Tablet version – what is the tablet version of Farmers Weekly?

When you subscribe to the tablet edition, your weekly issue of Farmers Weekly will be available to download and view on your iPad or Android tablet device. In addition to all the great content you expect from Farmers Weekly, the app also has links to related content and videos on fwi.co.uk and supplier websites plus other interactive features.

Tablet version – when is the latest issue available each week?

The latest issue will normally be available to download every Thursday. If you have opted to receive notifications on your iPad, you will receive an alert in the app when the new issue is available.

The app is currently available on iPad and Android tablet devices (from version 4.0.3 onwards). You can download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Tablet version – how do I activate my subscription?

If you purchased your tablet subscription through Farmers Weekly, follow these simple steps to download your issues:

1. Download the Farmers Weekly app from the Apple App Store or Google Play
2. Launch the app on your device
3. For iPad tap 'Sign In' located in the top left corner of your screen, or on an Android device tap the menu button/icon and select 'Sign In'
4. Enter your account details to access your paid-for subscription editions:
Username – your email address (for your Farmers Weekly subscription not necessarily your Apple ID or Google Play ID)
Password – your Web Order Reference Number or your Subscriber Number
   (use your Web Order Reference Number until you receive your Subscriber Number)
5. Download the issue you wish to read. Only issues from the start date of your subscription will be free to download, any outside of that date need to be paid for separately.

You can find your Subscriber Number on the plastic wrapper your magazine is delivered in or on any correspondence from us.
Subscription Number Examples

Tablet version – what is my username and password for the tablet version?

Your Username is your email address (for your Farmers Weekly subscription, not necessarily your Apple or Google Play ID) and your Password is your Web Order Reference Number or your Subscriber Number (use your Web Order Reference Number until you receive your Subscriber Number).

If you purchased your tablet subscription by phone or post with Farmers Weekly, you will receive an email within 48 hours confirming your Subscriber Number.

Please ensure you provide your email address to our Customer Services team or include it on your order by post so we can send your details.

Tablet version – how can I share articles via Facebook from the iPad edition?

First you need to set up your Facebook account on your iPad.
You will need to be on Version 7 or above to use Social Sharing:

  1. Go to your iPad home screen and select ‘Settings’
  2. Scroll down to locate ‘Facebook’ in the navigation bar
  3. Sign in with your personal Facebook details
  4. Return to the Farmers Weekly app

When you find an article you would like to share in Facebook:
  1. Tap the article and select Facebook share from the top right navigation bar
  2. Choose Facebook from the icons
  3. The text can be amended before you share

You can also email the article by selecting the ‘Mail’ icon from the options

Tablet version – problems with links and downloads

Double check you have an active internet connection and ensure you have the latest operating system as this could affect the performance on your tablet. You can download the latest version from iTunes.

Tablet version – my issues of Farmers Weekly on my tablet

Can I keep my copies of Farmers Weekly on my tablet?
Yes, once you have purchased an issue it will remain in the app for you to read whenever you like.
What if I don’t want to keep every issue I’ve downloaded?
You can manage how many issues are kept in your app by selecting the Settings icon in the top right corner, tapping ‘Account Settings’ then ‘Manage Old Issues’.
Can I restore issues that I previously downloaded but have lost or removed?
If issues you have purchased have been lost or removed through deleting the app, moving to a new device or clearing issues from the app, you can recover them by selecting the Settings icon in the top right corner, tapping Account Settings’ then ‘Restore Purchases’.
Please note, you will not be able to re-download issues once your subscription has expired.

Tablet version – Can I read Farmers Weekly when I’m not connected to the internet?

Yes, once downloaded you can read your issues without an internet connection but your tablet will need to be online to download new issues.

Tablet version – my new Farmers Weekly issue does not appear

What to do:
  •  Check you still have an active Farmers Weekly subscription
  •  Connect to an alternative WiFi network
  •  If possible, connect to a 3G network

Tablet version – my issue appears but does not download

Once you click on the download button, if the download progress bar does not begin, it may be because the date and time on your tablet is incorrect. Close the Farmers Weekly app and correct the date and time on your tablet. Then re-launch the Farmers Weekly app and try to re-download the issue.
